Day 9: Pincha Mayurasana or Forearmstand

    – Keep your elbows shoulder width apart. Your hands and forearms can be parallel or together.  It’s what you feel comfortable doing! Use a strap right above your elbows if you need help keeping them in.

    – Exhale before you kick up to help engage your core.

    – Gaze down between your thumbs to help balance.

      I’ve been trying to do this pose for awhile and I’m starting to feel that maybe I lack upper body strength or maybe too heavy for the pose? It doesn’t help that I fear falling on my face and neck. How can I get over the fear?
